Privacy

GetCalcMaster is designed to be notebook-first and privacy-forward. Most features work without an account, and your day-to-day work stays on your device by default.

What GetCalcMaster stores on your device

To make the product fast and usable offline, GetCalcMaster stores certain data in your browser (for example: IndexedDB or localStorage):

  • Notebook documents and cell outputs (so you can return to your work).
  • Calculator history, converter favorites/recents, and UI preferences (theme, density).
  • Custom units you define (shared across Calculator + Converter).

You can remove this data at any time by clearing site data in your browser.

What may be sent to our servers

When you are online, some features may send your input to GetCalcMaster server endpoints to compute a result (for example: the /api/eval evaluation API). The server returns the computed result to your browser.

  • Normal operation: requests are processed to return a result.
  • Error diagnostics: when an evaluation fails, we may record an error event that includes the request and response payload (to troubleshoot reliability issues).

Standard server logs may also include technical metadata such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, and request paths for security, rate-limiting, and operational reliability.

Analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the site is used and to improve performance and usability. You can choose Essential only in the cookie banner to disable analytics.

If you change your mind later, clear cookies/site data and revisit the site to see the banner again.

Advertising and cookies

If advertising is enabled on GetCalcMaster, third-party vendors (including Google) may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve ads based on your visits to this and/or other websites.

  • You can manage or opt out of personalized ads in Google Ads Settings.
  • You can opt out of some third-party vendors' uses of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info.
